Indications
Kidney yin-yang deficiency (often perimenopausal): hot flushes and sweating with cold intolerance, irritability, dizziness, a sore weak lower back, and irregular menstruation; also some hypertension.

Tongue: pale or red. Pulse: thin or wiry.
Modifications
Adjust the warming and cooling halves to the yin/yang balance.
