Location
In the groin, lateral to the femoral artery, at the upper border of the pubic symphysis, 3.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline.

Indications
Hernia, abdominal pain and distension, retention of urine, and disorders of pregnancy and the uterus.
Needling
0.5-1.0 cun, perpendicular insertion, avoiding the femoral artery.
