Location
On the lateral neck, posterior and inferior to the mastoid process, on the posterior border of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, level with the angle of the mandible.
Anatomy
Posterior border of sternocleidomastoid; the posterior auricular artery and the occipital artery; the lesser occipital nerve.

Indications
Headache, dizziness, sudden deafness, blurred vision, facial swelling, stiff neck, and scrofula.

0.5-1.0 cun, perpendicular insertion.
