Tinggong (SI-19), “Palace of Hearing”, in front of the ear, is a principal local point for tinnitus, deafness and other ear disorders.
Location
On the face, between the tragus and the mandibular joint, in the depression formed when the mouth is open, midway between SJ-21 and GB-2.
Anatomy
Anterior to the tragus; the auricular branches of the superficial temporal artery; the facial and auriculotemporal nerves.

Needling
0.5-1.0 cun, perpendicular insertion with the mouth held open.
Moxibustion Suitability
