Location

On the chest, on the anterior midline, at the level of the fifth intercostal space, on the sternocostal angle (sternum base).

Anatomy

On the sternum; the perforating branches of the internal mammary artery; the anterior cutaneous branch of the sixth intercostal nerve.

Indications

Fullness and pain of the chest, vomiting and hiccup, and difficulty swallowing.
