This is the Luo-Connecting point of the Kidney channel, connecting with the Bladder. It strengthens the Kidney, anchors the qi and strengthens the will (zhi).
Location
On the medial aspect of the foot, posterior and inferior to the medial malleolus, in the depression anterior to the attachment of the Achilles tendon to the calcaneus.
Anatomy
Anterior to the Achilles attachment; the medial calcaneal branch of the posterior tibial artery; the medial calcaneal branches of the tibial nerve.

Indications
Asthma and difficulty breathing, retention of urine and enuresis, lower back stiffness, depression and timidity, and heel pain.
Needling
0.3-0.5 cun, perpendicular insertion.
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion.

With BL-64 (Yuan-source pairing) for back and urinary disorders; with KI-3 to strengthen the Kidney.
