This is the Shu-Stream and Wood point of the Gall Bladder channel and the Confluent point of the Dai Mai (Girdle Vessel). It spreads Liver qi, benefits the eyes and breast and regulates the Dai Mai.
Location
On the dorsum of the foot, in the depression distal to the junction of the fourth and fifth metatarsal bones, lateral to the tendon of extensor digiti minimi.
Anatomy
Between the fourth and fifth metatarsals; the dorsal metatarsal artery; the intermediate dorsal cutaneous nerve.

Indications
Headache and eye disorders, hypochondriac pain, breast distension and mastitis, irregular menstruation and vaginal discharge (via the Dai Mai), and pain of the foot.
Needling
0.3-0.5 cun, perpendicular insertion.
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion.
Point Combinations
With SJ-5 (its paired Confluent point) for the temporal region, ears and eyes; with GB-26 for the Dai Mai and vaginal discharge.
