Location

On the head, 1.5 cun posterior to the anterior hairline, directly above the pupil (1 cun posterior to GB-15).

Anatomy

On the epicranial aponeurosis; the frontal and superficial temporal arteries; the medial and lateral branches of the frontal nerve.

Indications

Red and painful eyes, blurred vision, headache and dizziness, and nasal congestion.

Needling

0.3-0.5 cun, transverse insertion.

Moxibustion Suitability

Suitable for moxibustion.

With GB-15 and GB-20 for eye disorders and headache.
