Quchai (BL-4), “Crooked Curve”, on the forehead, benefits the nose and eyes and clears the head.

Location

On the head, 0.5 cun within the anterior hairline, 1.5 cun lateral to the midline (DU-24), at the junction of the medial third and lateral two-thirds of the line from DU-24 to ST-8.

Anatomy

On the frontalis; the frontal artery and vein; the medial branch of the frontal nerve.

Indications

Headache, nasal congestion and nosebleed, and blurred vision.

Needling

0.3-0.5 cun, transverse insertion.
