Indications

Toxic-heat with blood stasis in the limbs: dark red, hot, painful swelling of the toes/fingers progressing to ulceration or gangrene (e.g. Buerger’s disease).

Tongue: red. Pulse: rapid.

Modifications

Large doses are used; combine with conventional vascular care.

Cautions & Contraindications
