Indications

Liver fire with wind: red eyes, irritability and restlessness, a bitter taste, constipation, and, in children, fever with convulsions or night crying.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: red with a yellow coat. Pulse: wiry and rapid (forceful).

Modifications

Paediatric dosing as appropriate.

Cautions & Contraindications

For Liver-fire excess; not for deficiency (empty) wind or deficiency-heat.
