Indications
Fire-toxin sores: red, hot, hard, painful boils, furuncles and carbuncles, possibly with fever and chills.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: red with a yellow coat. Pulse: rapid.
Modifications
Often combined with Xian Fang Huo Ming Yin for stubborn sores.
Cautions & Contraindications
For hot, toxic (yang) sores; not for yin-type cold sores.
