Indications

Early damp-warmth with damp predominant: a heavy head and body, a stifling chest, no appetite, an afternoon fever, a sallow complexion, and few or no thirst.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: white greasy coat. Pulse: soggy and slightly rapid.

Modifications

As heat increases, move toward stronger heat-clearing damp formulas.

Cautions & Contraindications

For damp-predominant damp-heat; not for dryness or pure heat.
