Indications
Tapeworm and other intestinal parasites; food stagnation with abdominal distension and constipation; and damp leg qi with swelling.
Dosage
3-9 g (30-60 g for tapeworm) in decoction.
Common Combinations
With Mu Xiang and Da Huang for food stagnation; with Nan Gua Zi for tapeworm.
Cautions & Contraindications
Use with caution in Spleen deficiency with loose stools and in prolapse; avoid large doses in pregnancy.
