Indications

Yin-deficiency heat with bone-steaming fever and night sweats; and childhood nutritional impairment with fever, irritability and emaciation.

Dosage

3-9 g in decoction.

Common Combinations

With Qing Hao and Di Gu Pi for deficiency heat.

Cautions & Contraindications

Avoid in fever from external invasion and where there is no deficiency heat.
