Indications

Toxic sores, carbuncles and abscesses; wind-heat and early-stage febrile disease with fever and sore throat; and hot dysentery.

Dosage

6-15 g in decoction.

Common Combinations

With Lian Qiao (Yin Qiao San) for wind-heat; with Pu Gong Ying for toxic sores.

Cautions & Contraindications

Avoid in Spleen-Stomach deficiency-cold and in sores from deficiency.
