Indications

Wind-cold with cough; qi stagnation of the chest and abdomen with nausea and vomiting; morning sickness and restless fetus; and seafood poisoning.

Dosage

5-9 g in decoction (add near the end).

Common Combinations

With Huo Xiang and Chen Pi for wind-cold with dampness and nausea.

Cautions & Contraindications

Use with caution in exterior deficiency with sweating and in warm febrile disease.
