This is the first point of the Conception Vessel and the meeting of the Ren, Du and Chong vessels at the perineum. It benefits the lower orifices, regulates the lower burner and is used in resuscitation.
Location
In the perineum, between the anus and the posterior border of the scrotum in men, or between the anus and the posterior labial commissure in women.
Anatomy
In the centre of the perineum; the perineal artery and vein; the perineal branch of the pudendal nerve.

Indications
Genital pain, itching and swelling, retention of urine, haemorrhoids and rectal prolapse, irregular menstruation, and resuscitation after drowning.
Needling
0.5-1.0 cun, perpendicular insertion.
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion.
Point Combinations
With DU-20 for prolapse; with DU-1 for haemorrhoids.
