This is the Front-Mu (alarm) point of the Kidney. It benefits the Kidney, regulates water metabolism and strengthens the lower back.
Location
On the lateral abdomen, below the free end of the twelfth rib.
Anatomy
On the external and internal oblique and transversus abdominis; the eleventh intercostal artery; the eleventh intercostal nerve.

Indications
Lumbar pain, oedema and difficult urination, borborygmus and diarrhoea, and abdominal distension.
Needling
0.3-0.5 cun, perpendicular insertion.
