On the head, 0.5 cun within the anterior hairline at the corner of the forehead, 4.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline.
Anatomy
On the temporalis and the epicranial aponeurosis; the frontal branches of the superficial temporal artery; the auriculotemporal nerve and the temporal branch of the facial nerve.

Indications
Frontal and temporal headache, dizziness, blurred and painful vision, excessive lacrimation, and twitching of the eyelids.
Needling
0.5-1.0 cun, transverse insertion.
Moxibustion Suitability
Moxibustion is generally not used.

With Taiyang and GB-8 for headache.
