Location
On the scapula, in the centre of the infrascapular fossa, at the junction of the upper third and lower two-thirds of the line connecting the midpoint of the scapular spine and the inferior angle of the scapula.
Anatomy
In the infraspinatus muscle; the circumflex scapular artery; the suprascapular nerve.

Indications
Pain and stiffness of the scapula and shoulder, mastitis and breast disorders, and asthma.
Needling
0.5-1.0 cun, perpendicular insertion.

Suitable for moxibustion.

With SI-1 and ST-18 for breast disorders; with SI-9, SI-10 for shoulder pain.
