Location
On the lateral aspect of the upper arm, at the lower end of the deltoid muscle, on the line connecting LI-11 and LI-15, approximately 7 cun proximal to LI-11.
Anatomy
At the insertion of the deltoid muscle; the posterior circumflex humeral artery and the deep brachial artery; the posterior antebrachial cutaneous nerve and the radial nerve.

Indications
Eye disorders, pain and motor impairment of the shoulder and arm, stiff neck, and scrofula.
Needling
0.5-1.0 cun, perpendicular or obliquely upward insertion.

With LI-15 for shoulder disorders; with eye points for ophthalmic disorders.
