Qichong (ST-30), “Rushing Qi”, in the groin, regulates qi in the lower burner, benefits the genitals and is associated with the origin of the Chong Mai.
Location
On the groin, 5 cun inferior to the umbilicus, 2 cun lateral to the anterior midline, superior to the inguinal groove where the femoral artery pulsates.
Anatomy
On the superior border of pubic bone; the inferior epigastric artery and, lateral, the femoral artery; the ilioinguinal nerve.

Indications
Genital pain and swelling, hernia, irregular menstruation and infertility, and lower abdominal pain.
Needling
0.5-1.0 cun, perpendicular insertion, avoiding the femoral artery.
