This is the He-Sea and Earth point of the Small Intestine channel. It clears heat, calms the spirit and benefits the elbow.
Location
At the elbow, in the groove between the olecranon of the ulna and the medial epicondyle of the humerus (where the ulnar nerve is palpable).
Anatomy
In the ulnar groove; the superior and inferior ulnar collateral arteries; the ulnar nerve lies directly at the point.

Indications
Pain of the elbow, arm and shoulder along the channel, headache, swelling of the cheek and neck, epilepsy, and deafness.
Needling
0.3-0.5 cun, perpendicular insertion (a strong electric sensation along the forearm is common).
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion.
Point Combinations
With SI-3 for channel pain; with SJ-17 for swelling of the cheek.
