This is the Jing-Well and Metal point of the Small Intestine channel. It clears heat, benefits the breasts and promotes lactation, and restores consciousness.
Location
On the ulnar side of the little finger, approximately 0.1 cun proximal to the corner of the nail.
Anatomy
The nail bed of the little finger; the arterial and venous network of the digit; the palmar and dorsal digital nerves from the ulnar nerve.

Indications
Insufficient lactation, mastitis, sore throat, headache, febrile disease, loss of consciousness, and eye disorders.
Needling
0.1 cun shallow insertion, or prick to bleed.
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion, particularly to promote lactation.
Point Combinations
With SI-11 and ST-18 for insufficient lactation; with the Jing-well points for loss of consciousness.
