Location

On the chest, on the anterior midline, on the manubrium of the sternum, 1 cun below REN-22.

Anatomy

On the manubrium; the perforating branches of the internal mammary artery; the anterior cutaneous branch of the first intercostal nerve.

  • Benefits the throat and relieves cough

Indications

Cough and asthma, sore throat, fullness of the chest, and difficulty swallowing.

Needling

0.3-0.5 cun, transverse insertion.

Moxibustion Suitability

Suitable for moxibustion.
