This is the Jing-River and Fire point of the Gall Bladder channel. As the sedation point it clears damp-heat, spreads Liver qi and relieves migraine and lateral-body pain.
Location
On the lateral lower leg, 4 cun proximal to the prominence of the lateral malleolus, on the anterior border of the fibula.
Anatomy
On the anterior border of the fibula, on peroneus longus and brevis; the anterior tibial artery; the superficial peroneal nerve.

Indications
Migraine, pain at the outer canthus, hypochondriac pain, scrofula, and pain of the lateral leg and ankle.
Needling
0.5-0.8 cun, perpendicular insertion.
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion.

With GB-34 and GB-39 for lateral-leg disorders.
