Location
On the face, 0.5 cun lateral to the outer canthus of the eye, in the depression on the lateral border of the orbit.
Anatomy
On orbicularis oculi; the zygomatico-orbital artery; the zygomaticofacial and zygomaticotemporal nerves and the temporal branch of the facial nerve.

Indications
Red, painful and watery eyes, blurred vision, early-stage cataract, headache, and facial paralysis.
Needling
0.3-0.5 cun, transverse insertion laterally; or prick to bleed.
Moxibustion Suitability
Moxibustion is not used near the eye.
