Zhiyin (BL-67), “Reaching Yin”, is the Jing-Well and Metal point of the Bladder channel and the last point of the channel. It dispels wind, clears the head and eyes, and is the classic point (with moxibustion) for correcting malposition of the fetus (breech presentation).
Location
On the lateral side of the little toe, approximately 0.1 cun proximal to the corner of the nail.
Anatomy
The nail bed of the little toe; the plantar and dorsal digital arteries; the plantar and dorsal digital nerves.

Indications
Malposition of the fetus (breech presentation), difficult labour, headache, nasal congestion and nosebleed, and eye pain.
Needling
0.1 cun shallow insertion, or prick to bleed; for breech, moxibustion is used.
Moxibustion Suitability
Highly suitable - moxa on BL-67 is the classic and well-known treatment for turning a breech baby (usually from around 34 weeks).
Point Combinations
Moxa bilaterally for breech presentation; with BL-60 to promote labour.
