Indications

Early-stage measles or rashes failing to erupt: fever and chills, a red face and eyes, cough, and an incomplete or sluggish rash.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: red with a thin coat. Pulse: floating and rapid.

Modifications

With more heat, add wind-heat and heat-clearing herbs.

Cautions & Contraindications

For the early venting stage; not once measles is fully erupted or for measles with vigorous interior heat. Ensure appropriate care for measles.
