Indications

Constipation from intestinal dryness: dry, hard, difficult stools with a dry mouth and tongue, especially in the elderly, postpartum or convalescent.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: dry. Pulse: thin and choppy.

Modifications

For accompanying blood deficiency, combine with Run Chang Wan.

Cautions & Contraindications

For dryness constipation; use with caution in pregnancy (contains Tao Ren and Yu Li Ren).
