Indications
Qi and yin deficiency: shortness of breath, spontaneous sweating, dry mouth, a chronic dry cough, and a weak or faint pulse.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: red and dry. Pulse: weak or faint (or thin and rapid).
Modifications
Use Xi Yang Shen in place of Ren Shen when there is more heat.
Cautions & Contraindications
Not for the early exterior stage or where heat has not yet damaged the fluids.
