Indications

Convulsions, seizures, tetany, tremor and facial paralysis from wind; stubborn migraine and wind-damp painful obstruction; and scrofula and toxic sores.

Dosage

2-5 g in decoction, or 0.6-1 g as powder.

Common Combinations

With Wu Gong and Jiang Can for convulsions and facial paralysis.

Cautions & Contraindications

Toxic - use small doses; contraindicated in pregnancy and in wind from blood deficiency.
