Indications

Amenorrhoea and dysmenorrhoea from stasis; weak, sore lower back and knees; upper-body bleeding and Liver-yang headache/dizziness; and painful urination.

Dosage

6-15 g in decoction.

Common Combinations

With Du Zhong and Sang Ji Sheng for the lower back; with Dai Zhe Shi for rising yang.

Cautions & Contraindications

Contraindicated in pregnancy and in heavy menstruation; use with caution in Spleen deficiency with loose stools.
