This is the Xi-Cleft point of the Yang Wei Mai. It calms the spirit, benefits the lateral leg and relieves chest and hypochondriac fullness.
Location
On the lateral lower leg, 7 cun proximal to the prominence of the lateral malleolus, on the posterior border of the fibula.
Anatomy
On the posterior border of the fibula, on peroneus longus and soleus; the peroneal artery; the lateral sural cutaneous nerve.

Indications
Fullness and pain of the chest and costal region, mania and fright, and pain and weakness of the lateral leg.
Needling
0.5-0.8 cun, perpendicular insertion.

With GB-34 for the leg and hypochondrium.
