This is the Xi-Cleft point of the Yin Qiao Mai. It regulates menstruation, stops uterine bleeding and benefits the lower burner.
Location
On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 2 cun superior to KI-3, 0.5 cun anterior to KI-7, posterior to the medial border of the tibia.
Anatomy
Posterior to the tibia, on flexor digitorum longus; the posterior tibial artery; the medial crural cutaneous nerve and the tibial nerve.

Indications
Irregular and excessive uterine bleeding, prolapse of the uterus, dysmenorrhoea, genital pain and itching, and diarrhoea or constipation.
Needling
0.5-1.0 cun, perpendicular insertion.
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion.
Point Combinations
With SP-1 and SP-6 for uterine bleeding.
