This is the Jing-Well and Metal point of the Stomach channel. It clears heat, calms the spirit, restores consciousness and is used for dream-disturbed sleep.
Location
On the lateral side of the second toe, approximately 0.1 cun proximal to the corner of the nail.
Anatomy
The nail bed of the second toe; the dorsal digital artery; the dorsal digital nerve.

Indications
Excessive dreaming and dream-disturbed sleep, mania, facial paralysis, toothache, epistaxis, sore throat, and febrile disease.
Needling
0.1 cun shallow insertion, or prick to bleed.
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion.
Point Combinations
With HT-7 for excessive dreaming; with the Jing-well points for loss of consciousness.
