On the face, in the depression of the infraorbital foramen, directly below the pupil.

At the infraorbital foramen, in orbicularis oculi; the infraorbital artery and vein; the infraorbital nerve.

• Benefits the face and stops pain and twitching

Red and painful eyes, blurred vision, twitching of the eyelids, facial paralysis and twitching, and trigeminal neuralgia.

0.2-0.3 cun perpendicular, or 0.3-0.5 cun obliquely; do not needle into the foramen.

Moxibustion is generally not used on the face.

With ST-7 and LI-4 for facial paralysis and trigeminal neuralgia.

A local point for the eye and face.

Avoid deep insertion into the infraorbital foramen.
