On the anteromedial aspect of the thigh, 2 cun proximal to the medial superior border of the patella, on the bulge of the vastus medialis muscle.
Anatomy
On vastus medialis; the muscular branches of the femoral artery and vein; the anterior femoral cutaneous nerve and the saphenous nerve.

Indications
Irregular or painful menstruation, uterine bleeding, skin disorders (eczema, urticaria, itching), and pain of the medial thigh and knee.
