Liver 11 (LV 11) Yin Lian 陰廉 — Yin Corner

Location

On the medial aspect of the thigh, 2 cun directly inferior to ST-30, at the lateral border of the adductor longus muscle.

Anatomy

On adductor longus and brevis; the branches of the medial circumflex femoral artery; the genitofemoral and anterior femoral cutaneous nerves.

Indications

Irregular menstruation, infertility, lower abdominal pain, and pain of the medial thigh.

Needling

0.8-1.2 cun, perpendicular insertion.

Suitable for moxibustion.

With REN-4 and SP-6 for menstrual disorders and infertility.
