Location
On the medial aspect of the thigh, 4 cun proximal to the base of the patella, between the vastus medialis and sartorius muscles.
Anatomy
Between vastus medialis and sartorius, on adductor magnus; the femoral artery and vein and the descending genicular artery; the anterior femoral cutaneous nerve and the saphenous nerve.

Indications
Irregular menstruation, lower abdominal pain, difficult urination and enuresis, and pain of the lumbosacral region radiating to the lower abdomen.
Needling
0.8-1.2 cun, perpendicular insertion.
